MTV Movie Awards 2010

Who watched them? Anyone? I thought that this year was alright, but not as good as previous years. The performers did a great job (even though Christina's VaJayJay was lighting up), Aziz as host did a good job of keeping the show rolling and inserting jokes here or there (even if they weren't funny), and it wouldn't be the MTV Movie Awards without a girl-on-girl kiss. While this maybe the best part of the show for many, I focus on what they were wearing.

Red Carpet? How was it? While the MTV movie awards is a dress-down event, some took this literally and some ignored it. It seems that everyone is jumping on the idea that MORE BLING IS BETTER! And guess who isn't complaining? Another trend: Long legs being shown off by a short mini. While we had some major hits and misses, overall the fashion this year was better than previous...
Katy P:
When did fashion and costume get mixed up? I blame is GaGa (I love her style but it gets a bit over the top sometimes). Although I love the dress and shoes, and this is the perfect proportion for Katy P, leave the wig at home for dress up with Russell.

Sandy Bullock:
Best dressed of the night for me. Her personal issues aside, Sandra pulled off what all stars need to do after bad press, create good press. This is exactly what she did in this killer embellished black mini. Not only did she look hot, she looked classy at the same time-- something that a few stars could take some notes on.

Amanda S:
Although many hated this dress, I loved it. The layered lace and black satin on a mini will always scream sexy, even if it covers half your body. With the focus on legs this year, Amanda fit right in.

Lind-sanity:
OK, not as bad as I thought it would be. Linds looked a lot better than the last time I saw her. I watched her trial (her latest, one that is) on TMZ. Buttons, Lindsey, buttons. Anyways, I applaud her for her efforts last night. It isn't a perfect A+, but it's defiantly a solid B-.

Jessica Biel:
I love this look on Jess B. Biel has always given off the tough girl image. She can kick ass, I know that, but this look made her girlie and chic.
Christina A:
What happened?? Christina had been rocking some glam 40's and 50's looks recently, and looked fabulous at the Golden Globes last year, but c'mon... seriously? This is a flattering look on her? I disagree. The Bionic thing was cool and all, but this is just a hot mess. Where do I look? This sad, heavy, black feathered skirt or the bellybutton cut out?

Snookie:
I didn't watch all of the Jersey Shore, but I did see clips of Snookie getting wasted, getting punched in the teeth, and letting a dude jump out of the car on her. However, this dress was a remarkable improvement for her from what I've seen. This dress is right on target with the theme of the show-- bling and legs. What made the look was the accessorizing and shoes. Good job, Snooks!

Anna Kendrick:
One of the best dressed of the night for me. Not only did she win Breakout Star, but she looked young and hip. This beautiful rose themed frock made her look fabulous!

Paris Hilton:
Feathers done right. Take note Xtina. Another nominee for Best Dressed IMO.

Scarlett Jo:
Best Dressed nominee. This shade green looks perfect on Scarlett with her fair skin and long blond locks. Complete with black pumps, it's hard to screw this one up.

So what do you guys think?? Leave 'em in the comments.

Moviessss

am so excited for the movie "The Hunger Games." First off, it was a great book. Secondly, the costumes should be pretty great. If you've read the book, then you remember that the Capital dwellers are all extravagantly dressed and the tributes outfits during the chariot rides are pretty cool as well (the girl who was on fire).
In the spirit of great costumes, here are my favs:
Keira Knightley in Atonement:
Star Wars: Queen Amidala (Displayed at FIDM in New York)

Marilyn Monroe: The Seven Year Itch
Dorthy: The Wizard of Oz
